MaP PREMIUM Products
Some plumbing products are "high performance".
Some plumbing products are "high efficiency".
.....and some are BOTH!!
Admit it...no one wants to sacrifice performance to achieve a high level of efficiency.
Fortunately, with the launch of MaP PREMIUM rated plumbing products, you won’t have to.
The MaP PREMIUM label identifies those rare products that offer both superior performance AND superior efficiency!
For example, all MaP PREMIUM Residential Toilets MUST:
- Flush with no more than 4.0 litres (1.1 gallons*) – saving almost 20% more water compared to the current WaterSense® requirement!
(*-see NOTE below regarding rounding)
- Demonstrate a MaP rating of at least 600 grams (21 ounces) of solid waste removed in a single flush – more than 170% of the current WaterSense® requirement .... and three times a normal 'demand' upon a toilet!
and.....what's more, all MaP PREMIUM toilets must be certified to the U.S. EPA WaterSense® specification. (NOTE: Some PREMIUM models are not available in California. See the link below.)
Simplify your search for high performance, high efficiency plumbing products – look for the MaP Premium label.

WHAT IS THE OVERALL FLUSH PERFORMANCE OF MaP PREMIUM TOILET MODELS?

*NOTE: MaP PREMIUM rounds flush volumes to a single decimal place. While we recognize that 1.1 gallons is about 11 tablespoons of water greater than the 4.0-litre maximum flush volume set by MaP PREMIUM, it is our professional opinion that this difference is not materially significant.
